Play/Space provides you with an online platform where children and young people can create their own online portfolio of creativity, and includes resources and inspiration to create more at school or at home, and online galleries to upload children’s invention idea drawings to. We also organise events, competitions and workshops.

These terms and conditions (the “terms”) are the terms on which the website yourplay.space (the “website”) is made available to you (“you”/”your”). We are Play/Space Ltd (“we/us/our”) and our company number is 13346460.

Please read these terms carefully as they set out terms of use on which you may make use of our website, whether as a guest or a registered user. Use of our site includes accessing, browsing, or registering to use our site.

Uploading content

When uploading content to our site, it is your responsibility to ensure that any drawings, text, and photos you are submitting are your own. We will not be responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any content posted by you or any other user of our site.

By uploading content to our website you provide consent to collect your personal information. We will only use your information to contact you regarding your artwork and potential projects and opportunities as and if they arise. Anyone under the age of 16 will need to use a parent or guardian’s email, and get their permission before entering any details.

By uploading content to our website you grant Play/Space and its partners a non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable, perpetual, world-wide licence to use, modify, publish, publicly perform, display, distribute or remove your content on and through the website and off line promotional materials as we deem appropriate. You continue to own the content after it is posted to the website. Once you have uploaded content, our rights as above are retained in perpetuity, even should you remove the content. We are unable to offer further discussion, reviews or queries about an entry then what is available on the website. You agree to being contacted about your entry should we wish to discuss it with you.

The views expressed by other users on our site do not represent our views or values. You are solely responsible for securing and backing up your content.

We collect information about you with your permission when you:

  • Register to receive our newsletter (your email address only)
  • Upload content to our website
  • Work with our collaborative partners to evaluate the Play/Space (and all linked activities) to see what impact they have, in order to inform future strategies and planning

  • Sign up to become a Play/Space school
